What’s your pain? What’s holding you back? What’s your cycle of abuse?
My pain was my child abuse, and the inability to forgive my abusers. This resulted in a cycle of self-abuse which turned me into a sex addict and a broken man. But, this book isn’t about me, it’s about you. What do you want?
My wish is that you can use my trauma and journey of forgiveness to empower you, to help forgive the people who’ve hurt you. But most importantly, learn how to forgive yourself and let go of the years of guilt you might have carried.
For years I believed I was paying for the sins of a past life time. Until I learnt to love my abusers and forgive them, I had no idea who I was and the beauty I hold on the inside.
How do I hope this book will help you?
Easy, I hope it gives you as much peace in reading as it gave me writing.
Final note - we all go through traumas that are unique to us, from child abuse, to being cheated on, or being heartbroken from the loss of a loved one. The pain is still real, everyone has different coping mechanisms. Your pain might seem trivial those around you, but you are the only one that knows how much it really hurts, no one should judge you or compare the pain, as the pain is unique as you are.
So who is this book for?
This book is for anyone who wants to forgive.
It’s for anyone who wants to understand their life.
Anyone who wants to improve their life.
But more importantly, this book will help you understand anyone who needs the above to forgive, or understand this life, or improve it. The unique approach of the text allows a contemporary understanding of the secrets of forgiveness, and why they’re so
important.
Written in the first person, it tracks the conversation between the writer and a greater power which leads him firstly to understand why he suffered abused as a child, and finally why it’s so important to forgive. His personal struggle demonstrates the difficulties typically encountered on the path to forgiveness.
Here are some of the important points for the reader: normal font is used to indicate the writer is speaking, and bold text for the greater power.
On the topic of sin
Sin is doing all the things we dream of doing, but we are too scared of doing because we don’t want to go to hell.
Yes, if you “sin” you will end up in hell, so I give you the option of free will to do what you
want to do, and then slap you for doing it.
Was that sarcasm?
Yes it was. I am the creator of light and the bringer of love. Does punishing you for free will sound loving to you? Let’s just rearrange how you think about sin. At the time of the sin you enjoy the sin, then you feel guilty about the sin
On the topic of cheating
Once the baby is born the mother starts to give more love to the child than her
partner/husband/father of the child. The father, due to lack of love, will start looking
elsewhere to find it.
I have seen partners that have cheated whilst their partners were pregnant.
The above still applies, but the process has speeded up. The husband/boyfriend stops
feeling the love from his wife/girlfriend. As she starts giving the unborn baby more love,
he feels neglected.
On the topic of self-worth
No, son, there is a difference between your self-worth being nothing and being worthless.
